Recently, we celebrated 4 years since Burak, the founder of Extreme Seeds, lunched the first online store in Turkey. Our history began in 2015, when an average person decided to quit his boring and low paid job at a clothing factory and to follow his dream. He moved to Holland and took a part-time job in Amsterdam coffee shops to gain experience and learn the ins and outs of business.

Inspired by example of successful coffee shops in Holland, Burak feel in love with cannabis culture in general. Soon he realized that it was much more interesting to select cannabis and grow plants.  That is why, he got a job in a greenhouse and discovered his talent as a grower and breeder.

He was inspired by the idea of creating Extreme Seeds company to work with the best seed banks and promote canna culture. 

He spent some time in the Netherlands to learn the intricacies of selection and breeding of new strains. His dream of his own business was put into a project. Later, Burak moved to Spain to gain more international experience at the commercial cannabis farms. There he made many friends, true followers and connoisseurs of seeds produced in Spain.  Spanish breeders are the best in the world. 

Burak spent a year in Spain, but the significance of his stay cannot be overestimated. He thoroughly improved his skills and gain knowledge. He turned from a good and skillful amateur grower into a real professional. Moreover, he made many useful contacts and acquaintances among Spanish breeders.

In 2017, he returned to his homeland, to Turkey, to realize his dream. He opened the first Extreme Seeds store! As you know, the purchase of seeds in Turkey has always been a problem. There were no seed shops in the country, and imported seeds, firstly, were expensive, and secondly, they were blocked by the customs. When Extreme Seeds opened in Turkey it caused quite a stir. The store became popular overnight and had to speed up the expansion plans by opening new branches!

In 2021, Extreme Seeds store opened in Georgia. The history of overnight success was replicated!  Many happy customers got access to high-quality cannabis seeds. 

The team and a founder of Extreme Seeds are not going to stop. They plan to open new stores in the Middle East and Africa. The company, like its products, is getting better every year, and we are sure that soon growers all over the world will be able to buy and grow the varieties from Extreme Seeds!
